Job Summary: The Academic & Research Officer (ARO) is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our educational content and curricula. The ARO will ensure that all courses meet the highest standards of educational quality and align with both localized and international educational standards. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in education, curriculum development, and research.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Curriculum Development and Oversight:
- Lead the design and development of curricula for all courses, ensuring they are engaging, comprehensive, and aligned with educational standards.
- Collaborate with Course Development SMEs and other academic staff to continuously update and improve course content.
- Ensure that curricula reflect the latest educational research and best practices.
Research and Innovation:
- Conduct and oversee research on educational trends, pedagogical methods, and learning outcomes.
- Integrate research findings into the development and enhancement of course materials and teaching strategies.
- Encourage innovation in curriculum design and instructional methods to enhance student learning experiences.
Quality Assurance and Evaluation:
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes for all educational programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curricula and instructional materials.
- Use data and feedback from students, parents, and educators to make informed improvements.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor the Academic & Research team, including Course Development SMEs, researchers, and course creators.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages professional growth and innovation.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support, to align academic offerings with overall business goals.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure that all educational programs comply with relevant local and international educational standards and regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in educational policies and standards, and adapt curricula accordingly.
Professional Development and Training:
- Develop and implement professional development programs for educators and instructors.
- Provide training and support to ensure effective delivery of curricula and educational content.

Job Qualification :

Education:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Research, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in educational leadership or administration are highly desirable.
Experience:
- Proven experience in curriculum development, educational research, and academic leadership.
- Experience in the education sector, particularly in developing educational programs for children, is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing academic teams.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of educational standards and best practices in curriculum design.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
